REPORT ON PRICE INCREASES PROPOSED BY
AUSTRALIAN DAIRY INDUSTRY COUNCIL
I have received the attached report of the
Prices Justification Tribunal on certain price increases
proposed by the Australian Dairy Industry Council on
behalf of the Southern Queensland Dairy Company Limited
and others. The report is available to the public and may
be inspected at the offices of the Prices Justification
Tribunal 10 Queens Road, Melbourne or 100 William Street,
Sydney.

VISIT BY THE PRINCE CHARLES
The Prime Minister today referred to his announcement
last May that The Prince Charles would be making a visit to
Australia in October to inaugurate the Anglo-Australian
Telescope Board's telescope at Siding Spring in New South
Wales and carry out other engagements.
Mr. Whitlam went on to say that advice has now been
received from London that His Royal Highness has agreed to
visit the A. C. T. and Eastern States in accordance with the

ECONOMIC CONSULTATIONS
The Prime Minister announced today that the Australian
Government has decided that the Economic consultations between
Ministers and representatives of national organisations
will be held this year from 6 to 8 August inclusive at
Parliament House, Canberra.
The Prime Minister said that the consultations are
held in the context of the Government's pre-Budget preparations
and provide an opportunity for an exchange of views on the

GREEN PAPER ON MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY
The Prime Minister, Mr E. G. Whitlam, today announced that the
Government had established a committee to advise it on appropriate
policies for the development of manufacturing industry. The committee's
report will be published as a Green Paper.
The Prime Minister said that the committee would be under the
chairmanship of Mr Gordon Jackson, General Manager and Director,
C. S. R. Limited. Other members would be:
