The following statement was released today in London
from Buckingham Palace
" IT IS ANNOUNCED FROM BUCKINGHAM PALACE THAT THE
QUEEN HAS APPOINTED VICE-ADMIRAL SIR ROY D04ILING AS
AUSTRALIAN SECRETARY TO THE QUEEN AND TO BE A MEMBER
OF HER MAJ-ESTYIS HOUSEHOLD."

JUBILEE OF ANZAC
Statement by the Prime Minister,-the Rt. Hon. Sir Robert Menizies
The Commonwealth Government has decided to mark
the Jubilee of the landing at Gallipoli on April 25th, 1915,
by the inauguration of a ceremonial way leading from a point
near the shores of Lake Burley Griffin up to the Australian
War Memorial in Canberra.
" I believe all Australians and certainly the
ex-service organizations in each State will wish to emphasise
this outstanding event in our history," said Sir Robert,

SIR ROBERT Well, I hope I'll win. That's not the only reason

QUEEN ELIZABETH II FELLOWSHIPS
On the occasion of the visit of Her Majesty earlier this year,
the Commonwealth Government announced its decision to commemorate the
Royal Visit by the foundation in perpetuity of post-doctoral Fellowships
in the physical and biological sciences. With Her Majesty's consent,
these Fellowships will be known as the Queen Elizabeth II Fellowships.
Physical and biological sciences have an increasingly vital
role in national growth and welfare and the Government wishes the present
