The Liberal Party has en enormous responsibility to Australia.
It is the only nationwide Party which is concerned to represent
all Australians no matter where they are, where they live,
or what they do. The strength and the experience of the Liberal
Party over the decade has meant an enormous amount to this country
and to the living standards of Australian families. The growth

EXTENSION OF REPORTING DATE OF ROYAL COMMISSION
INTO THE MEAT INDUSTRY
The Commonwealth, Victorian and Northern Territory Governments
have agreed to extend the reporting date of the Meat Industry
Royal Commission by three weeks to 22 September 1982.
The extension is in response to a request by the Honourable
Mr Justice Woodward OBE for an extension for a maximum period
of three weeks in which to complete his report.

on 17 may of Charles Edward Griffiths, a Member of this House
for the Division of Shortland from 1949 to 1972, places on
record its appreciation of his long and meritorious public
service and tenders its sympathy to his family in their
bereavement". All Members will be saddened to learn of the death of one
