PREMIERS I CONFERENCE
Statement by th~ e Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. Sir Robert Menzies
The Prime Minister Sir Robert Menzies.
announced today th-at a Premiers? Conference will be hield
in Canberra on 12th and 13th March.
The principal. business of th-e Conference will
be a discussion of Commonwealth proposals for Commonwealth-
State financial arrangements concerning roads, to replace
the existing arrangements which expire on 30th June.
