Menzies-
I have today received the following letter
from P~ rincess Alexandra, acknowledging the wedding gift
of the Australian Government and people to the Princess
and her husband, the Honourable Angus Ogilvy

Richmond Park,
Surr-ey.
July 1st, 1963.
My Dear Prime Minister,
We are both overwhelmed by the magnificent
wedding present that you, the Members of the
Government and the people of Australia have
given us. I am deeply touched that you should
have thought of us in this most generous way,
and I want you all to know what immense
pleasure your gift has brought us.
These beautiful candlesticks, made of
Australian silver, will always be one of our
most treasured possessions, and a wonderful
reminder of your great kindness,

who joined in this present our heartfelt
thanks and all our good wishes?
