MINISTERIAL APPOINTMENT
Statement by the Prime Minister? the Rt. Hon. Sir Robert
Menzies
His Excellency the Governor-General has
authorised me to announce that Senator G. C. McKellar will
be appointed Minister for Repatriation. It is expected
that Senator McKellar will be sworn in on Tuesday, 22nd
December, 1964. The Honourable R. J. C. Swartz, E. D.,
who is at present Minister for Repatriation as well as
Minister for Health will continue as Minister for Health.
I also announce that the Honourable H. S.
Roberton, Minister for Social Services, is appointed
to the Cabinet.
