MINISTERIAL APPOINTMENT
Statement by the Prime Minister the Rt. Hon. Sir Robert
Menzies
The Honourable R. W. C. Owartz, E. D.,
Minister for Repatriation, was todaysorn in by
His Excellency the Governor-General as Minister for
Health. The swearing-in ceremony took place at Government
House, Canberra, at 9.30 a. m.
The appointment must at present be regarded
as temporary. I will give consideration to Cabinet
arrangements immediately after the Senate elections.
