works spanning 600 years without being reminded of the intrinsic
worth and value of human beings. We can see the worth and
the greatness of mankind both in the people who are depicted.

I am delighted that Her Majesty The Queen, as Sovereign
of the Order of Australia, has appointed His Royal Highness
The Prince of Wales to be a Knight of the Order. On behalf
of the Government and people of Australia, I congratulate
His Royal Highness most sincerely.

SPEECH TO THE MELBOURNE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
This is a proud occasion for the Melbourne Chamber of Commerce,
and I am very pleased to have been asked here tonight to
celebrate with you the Chamber's one hundred and thirtieth
anniversary. The Chamber is as old as the State of Victoria
itself,, and during that long life has many achievements of

says a former British Labour Party-Chairman and MP, Mr Dr'. erg.(?)
was a double agent, working for the KGB and MI 5. The report
says he gave details . of the personal and political activities
of his parliamentary colleagues to both the KGB and MI 5.
He was apparently feeding information from the. time he entered
Parliament in 1942 to his retirement in 1974, and afterwards

report on allegations that a former British intbilegence chief
was a spy for the Soviet Union. The man was named as
Sir Roger Hollis who was head of the counter es: pionage
