Departmental Secretary change
Ms Lisa Paul AO PSM has advised me that she wishes to leave her position as Secretary of the Department of Education and Training in February next year to pursue a career beyond the public service.
Ms Paul has been a Departmental Secretary since 2004 and has had an extensive and distinguished public service career. She has made a substantial contribution to the development of education and employment policy in Australia.
I thank Ms Paul for her leadership and commitment to the Australian Public Service and wish her all the very best for the future.
