The Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak will visit Perth on Wednesday and Thursday April 2-3.
I extended a personal invitation to the Prime Minister to officially visit Australia and receive briefings on the search effort for Malaysia Airlines flight MH370.
He will tour RAAF Base Pearce and personally thank the international forces taking part in the search.
This continues to be a trying time for Malaysia and for the many families grieving the loss of loved ones.
Prime Minister Najib Razak will see first-hand the dedication and skill of the international contingent that has marshalled resources for the search.
We continue to hope that answers to the baffling mystery behind MH370 will be found to give some comfort to the grieving family and friends of passengers and crew.
The Minister for Defence and I will tour RAAF Base Pearce with the Prime Minister and receive briefings from the recently formed Joint Agency Coordination Centre headed by Air Chief Marshal Angus Houston AC AFC.
