Visit to Pacific Islands Forum
I will visit Papua New Guinea from 25 to 27 October to attend the 36th Pacific Islands Forum leaders' meeting. The visit will provide a further opportunity to advance Australia's comprehensive agenda to promote good governance and security in the region.
The Forum will discuss important challenges that confront the South Pacific, including in the areas of health, transport, and law and order. The meeting will also review progress made over the past year by the Regional Assistance Mission to Solomon Islands.
