I am pleased to announce that The Queen and the Duke of
Edinburgh have accepted my invitation on behalf of the
Government and people of Australia and will be visiting
Australia from 18-25 February 1992.
Her Majesty and His Royal Highness will be visiting New
South Wales where they will be attending engagements
celebrating the Sesqui-centenary of the foundation of the
City of Sydney.
The Royal couple will also visit the Australian Capital
Territory and South Australia..
I am sure that The Queen and : he Duke of Edinburgh will
receive an especially warm and sincere welcome.
