The Primo Minister announced today that The Queen has given
formal a& proval to the extension of the National Medal
Regulations to include members of Australian Correctional
and Emergency Services.
Previously, the National Medal Regulations provided for the
awarding of the Medal to members of the various police
forces, Zire and ambulance services and the Australian
Protectivo Service who have served diligently for 15 years.
The Prizo Minister said that The Queen's approval to the
extension of the National Nedal Regulations would apply to
all oligible members of Australian Correctional and
Emergency Services.
