One of Australia-s most acclaimed ballet companies,
the Sydney Dance Company, will perform at the Odeon
of Herod Atticus in Athens from 12 to 15 June 1986.
The group of 21 dancers under the artistic direction
of Graeme Murphy will perform at the invitation of

The Company's works are a reflection of the present day
Australian society and culture that are creating a
new audience for dance in Australia.
Two programs will be presented in Athens, commencing
with Graeme Murphy's full-length ballet " After Venice".
The Company has performed in the United States, England,
Italy, Hong Kong and New Zealand.
In April 1985 it was invited to tour in the People's
Republic of China.
Following the Athens season, the Company will visit
Thessaloniki and northern Greece before going on to
