In Sydney on Monday 8 August, the Prime Minister will
farewell the Australian team to the International Skill
Olympics in Austria.
The farewell will take place at Kirribilli House at noon.
The Skill Olympics will be held in Linz, from August 15-29, and
will involve competition between top young tradespeople from
17 industrial nations.
The Australian team, who are aged between 19 and 21, have been
selected during the past year from 1200 entrants in a round of
competitions organised by Work Skill Australia, sponsored by the
H. V. Evatt Foundation.
The members of the Australian team are:
