The Federal Cabinet will be meeting in Brisbane on Tuesday
9 August.
This will be the. second occasion on which the present Cabinet
has met out of Canberra the first being in Adelaide, prior
to the Constitutional Convention, on Tuesday 26 April.
In addition to regular Cabinet business the Brisbane meeting
will give Federal Ministers an important opportunity to
have discussions with community groups, with unions and with
industry.
The Brisbane meeting reflects the importance the Federal
Government places on issues affecting Queenslanders.
As opportunities arise Cabinet meetings will be held in other
State capitals and in Darwin.
