THE PRIME MINISTER'S OFFICE
Dr Denis White has been appointed Director of the
Prime Minister's office, replacing Prof. David Kemp
whose resignation takes effect at the end of the year.
Dr White, a Senior Lecturer in Politics at Monash
University, joined the Prime Minister's staff at the
beginning of 1981.
Prof. Kemp is returning to Monash University to resume
his position in the Department of Politics.
The Prime Minister said: " I would like to pay tribute
to the work which Prof. Kemp has performed during his
second period of service in my office. I greatly
regret the circumstances which impelled him to
. relinquish the position. His work was valuable and
greatly appreciated." 000--
