VISIT BY HIS ROYAL HIGHNESS,
THE DUKE OF EDINBURGH
His Royal Highness, the Duke of Edinburgh, will visit
Melbourne : rom Wednesday, 25 March to 28 March, 1981.
The visit r. flects the wide-ranging interests of the Duke
of Edinb-rgh and is primarily to enable His Royal Highness
in his xr:: v as President of the Central Council of
Physic re.. reatoi: of Great Britain to open and attend the
inauc-. re.' eting z--e International Assembly of National
Spor-ad: r ratiLs. His Royal Highness will also attend
engage:: a: ssciatead with the international conference.
His Rosl ighness was last in Australia in May 1980 during
the visit of Her Majesty The Queen. Prior to that, in
Septemer 1979, His Royal Highness made a separate visit to
Perth to attend, as President, the Biennial Conference of
the Royal Agricultural Societies of the Commonwealth.
