NEW APPOINTMENTS
Cabinet has approved the following appointments:-
1. Mr P. G. Evatt, as a judge of the
Australian Industrial Court.
2. Mr Justice Starke, of the Victorian Supreme
Court, and Mr John Dixon of Melbourne, to the
Board of Trustees of the Australian War
Memorial.
3. Brigadier A. B. Stretton as Director-General
of the Natural Disasters Organisation.
Brigadier Stretton will be promoted to Ma3or-
General.
Cabinet has also approved the re-appointment of
Mr J. L. Burke, Barrister, and Mr N. Dempsey, Accountant, as
members of the Taxation Boards of Review.
