STATEMENT BY THE PRIME MINISTER
THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL, HIS EXCELLENCY SIR PAUL HASLUCK,
WILL LEAVE TONIGHT TO REPRESENT AUSTRALIA AT THE MEMORIAL SERVICE
FOR THE LATE PRESIDENT POMPIDOU TO BE HELD IN PARIS ON SATURDAY.
THE GOVERNMENT OF AUSTRALIA WILL BE ADMINISTERED IN
SIR PAUL'S ABSENCE BY HIS EXCELLENCY SIR ROHAN DELACOMBE,
THE GOVERNOR OF VICTORIA.
