VISIT OF MAURITTAN FOREIGN MINISTER
~ The Foreign Minister of Mauritius, Mr Gaetan Duval,
will1 visit Canberra tomorrow, 22 February, as a guest of the
Government. Announcing this today, the Acting Minister for Foreign
Affairs, Senator Willesee, said that he and officials of the
Deartment of Foreign Affairs, Tourism and Recreation and
Immigration, looked forward to meeting Mr Duval and to discussing
matters of mutual interest with him.
During his visit to Canberra, Mr Duval will have
discussions with Senator Willesee and will begiealuc
in Parliament House.
Mr Duval, who is also his country's Minister for
Tourism and Emigration, is visiting Australia to represent the
Government of Mauritius at the International Eucharistic Congress
in Melbourne. ./ 2

Mr Duval arrived in Australia from Tahiti yesterday
and will fly to Melbourne on Friday to attend the Congress.
He is accompanied by his Secretary, Mr I. T. N. Francois.
