VISIT BY THE PRIXE MTINISTER OF FIJI
Statement by the Prime m.-inister, the Rt. Hon. William
cMahon, C. H. M. P.
The Prime Mlinister of Fiji, the Honourable Ratu Sir
Kamisese Mara, and lvii Lady Lale. T! ara w: rill make an official
visit to ustrali3 from 22 Nay to 1 June.
The visit will begin in Cnbrra Aitb a morning arrival on
IMonday, 22 May. Th2 Prime " inister and his wife will leave for
. tllTourne on the morning of VWdn sday, 24 ! ny, and later visit
Quensland from Thursday, 25 M* Tay to Monday, 29 Mq-y, and New: South
Wales from Tuesday, 30 May to Thursday, I June. They will leave
Australia from Sydney on the T'Jursday.
Commonwealth and State !. uthorities are working on a
programme of engagements for the Prime Minister and Lady 14ara and
when all appointments are settled, a further announcement will be
