A. C. T. EVIDENCE BILL
Statement by the Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. William
McMahon, M. P.
Legislation will be introduced as soon as possible
in the new Session to replace the A. C. T. Evidence Ordinance 1971.
This legislation will replace the Australian Capital
Territory Evidence Temporary Provision A~ ct 1971 which was passed
last year as a special measure to give effect to the Ordinance in
statutory form until the 31 March this year.
