MELBOURNE BRIDGE TRAGEDY
The Prime Minister, Mr John Gorton, this afternoon
sent the following message to the Premier of Victoria, Sir Henry
Bolte " I AM SURE THE WHOLE OF AUSTRALIA IS
SHOCKED AND SADDENED BY THE SERIOUS ACCIDENT
AT WESTGATE BRIDGE.
PLEASE EXTEND MY DEEPEST SYNMPATHY TO ALL
THOSE FAMILIES TO WHOM THIS TRAGIC EVENT HAS
BROUGHT SUCH GRIEF.
