Rear-Admiral T. K. Morrison, CB, CBE, DSC., Flag
Of ficer-in-Charge, H. M. A. Naval TE'stablishments, East Australian
Area, has been appointed as Australian Commissioner -General for
EXPO Australia's participation in EXPO ' 70, which will be
held In Osakca, Japan, between 15 March and 13 September, 1970,
is regarded as being of considerable importance and the Government
is pleased to have obtained the services of Rear -Admiral Morrison,
who will be in charge of all activities associated with Australia's
participation in the Exposition. He will take up his new position on 4
March, 1968. Rear-Admiral Morrison has had a long and distinguished
career in the Navy. He served on H. M. A. ships " Australia" and
" Hobart" and was Captain of H. M. A. ships " Melbourne", " T obrukt"
and " Quadrant", subsequently holding a succession of senior staff
