Statement by the Minister for Repatriation,
Senator the Hon. G. Colin McKellar
For the second year in succession, the I. inister for
Repatriation, Senator McKellar, will have his Christmas dinner
with the Australian troops of the task force at Nui Dat,
Vietnam. Senator McKellar made this announcement at the National
Congress of the Returned Services League in Melbourne today.
He will leave Australia on December 19 and will
visit all Australian troops stationed in South Vietnam.
After completing his to-r of South Vietnam, the Minister
will visit the R. A. AF. station at Buttcrvorth and the
3rd R. A. R. stationed at Terandek, . alacca, before returning
to Australia. Senator McKellar will be accompanied by the
Chairman of the Repatriation Commission, Brigadier F. O. Chilton.
