WARRINGAH REPRESENTATION
Statement by the Prime Minister, Mr. Harold Holt
Following the announcement by the Speaker that
it was not proposed to issue a '. rit for a by-election in
Warringah prior to the general election, the Commonwealth
Government has given consideration to arrangements to enable
requests and representations to reach it from Warringah
electors. Senator Cotton has agreed, at the Government's
request, to attend to constituency matters and act as a
channel of communication from the electorate to the Government
and the Parliament.
