DEPUTATION ON FOUR WEEKS' AkNhUAL LEAVE
Statement by the Prime Minister, Mr. Harold Holt
The Prime Minister this morning received a
deputation on four weeks' annual leave for the Public Service.
After the meeting, which lasted for one and a
quarter hours, the Prime Minister said
" Together with Mr. F. H. nWheeler Chairman
of the Public Service Board, I listened to the
case presented by the deputation. I undertook
to bring the case before Cabinet after having
studied it fully."
The deputation comprised
Mr. A. E. Monk, President, A. C. T. U.
Mr. P. D.
Mr. I. S. Allsop, President, Australian Council of
Salaried and Professional
Associations.
Tenebaum, Vice-President, Association of
Architects, Engineers, Surveyors and
Draughtsmen.
Mr. R. G. Spratt, President, High Council of
Commonwealth Public Service Organisations
Mr. D. L. Linehan, Member of High Council and
Secretary Administrative and Clerical
Officers Association.
