STATE FUNERAL
DEATH OF THE HON. CHARLES WILLIAM FROST
Statement by the Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. Sir Robert Menzies
The Commonwealth Government is arranging a State
Funeral for the late Mr. C. W. Frost of Hobart, Tasmania,
Minister for Repatriation and War Service from 1941 to
1946, and Aiistralian High Commissioner in. Ceylon from 1947
t. 1950. He represented the Federal electorate of Franklin
from 1929 to 1931 and from 1934 to 1946.
Mr. Frost died in Hobart on Wednesday and the
funeral service will take place at St. David's Cathedral,
Hcbart at 10 a. m. on Saturday, 25th July, after which the
c,: tege will leave for the Cornelian Bay Cemetery.
The Prime Minister will be represented at the
funeral by Mr. C. W. J. Falkinder, M. P.

Ruth Frost, two eons Mr. Stewart Frost, M. H. A. and Mr.
Alan Frost, and one daughter, Mrs. Clare Mc~ arthy.
