VISIT TO SOUTH-EAST AND EAST ASIA
Statement by the Minister for External
Affairs~*
The Minister for External Affairs, Sir Garfeld Barwick,
said today that he would leave Sydney next Monday, May 28, on an
official visit of a little over five weeks to South-East and East
Asia. During his tour he would visit Singapore, Viet Nam,
Hong Kong, Formosa, Japan, Korea, Cambodia, Thailand, Malaya and
Indonesia. He also hoped to visit Burma.
He was scheduled to return to Sydney on July
