9 MESSAGE TO HER EXCELLENCY VISCOUNTESS DUNROSSIL
The Prime Minister, Mr. Menzies, today sent the
following message to Her Excellency Viscountess Dunrossil
" I have learned with profound grief of the sudden
death of your illustrious husband the Governor-General of
the Commonwealth of Australia.
Lord Dunrossil has served the Crown and the people of
this Commonwealth with distinction and was held in high
esteem by all who knew him. I rocall too his long and
valued service to the Parliament and people of the United
Kingdom. Please accept sincere sympathy from myself and my
colleagues".
