Statement by Acting Prime Minister, Mr. John McEwon
The Acting Prime Minister, Mr. John McEien, said
today he ias most distressed to hear of the decth of Mr.
Percy Clarey. Mr. McEren said Mr. Clarey -ias one of the
great men in the Australian Trade Jnion and political
movements. He had devoted himself with great courage to
overcoming his physical disabilities in looking after the
affairs of his own electorate and in sharing his Party's
political responsibilities generally.
I extend my own personal sympathy and the sympathy
of the Government to his relatives.
