STATEMENT BY THE PRIME MINISTER, THE HON PJ KEATING MP
THE HON. SYDNEY EINFELD AO
1 was deeply saddened to hear today of the death of Syd Einfeld who was a
person of great substance and compassion.
He always took up the lot of the under-privileged and the less well off.
Syd Einfeld was a valued member of the Labor family and a significant
Minister in the Wran Government in New South Wales.
He believed in social justice and he gave every expression to this as a
Minister. Hi wi iil ibutions to the Jewiah community woro oleo significant 2nd he will h.-
greatly missed.
I extend my condolences to his family.
