Oklahoma Bombing
The Prime Minister has today sent a message to President Clinton expressing Australia's condolences following the bombing in Oklahoma City. Text follows:
The shocking bombing in Oklahoma City has horrified all Australians. This was an act of criminal cowardice against innocent people, and we join you in condemning those responsible and calling for swiftjustice.
My personal sympathies and those of the Australian people are withall the victims of this senseless act and with their families at this time of immense suffering.
You can be assured that if your authorities require any help from Australia in their investigations it will be readily and quickly given.
