Following a request fromn the Minister for Foreign Affairs
and Trade, Senator the Hon Gareth Evans OC, I have
changed the responsibilities of the Hon Neal Blewett MP,
Minister for Trade Negotiations, to include Trade and
Development Assistance.
His Excellency the Governor-General will appoint
Dr Blewett on Friday 1 February as Minister for Trade and
Overseas Developm~ ent, within Senator Evans' portfolio. 4797
