PRIME MINISTER'S VISIT TO INDONESIA.
Statement by the Acting Prime Minister, Rt. Hon, J. McEWEN M.P.

The Acting Prime Minister announced that the Prime Minister, Mr. Menzies, would visit Indonesia for about five days towards the end of this year.

Mr. McEwen recalled that during his visit to Australia in February, the Indonesian Foreign Minister, Dr. Subandrio, had invited Mr. Menzies to pay a visit to Indonesia.

The Prime Minister of Indonesia, Dr. Djuanda, has since written to Mr. Menzies formally inviting him, and Mr. Menzies had accepted. The details of the visit and the firm dates for it would be worked out later.
