PM: Don.' t you understand that if Senator Grimes leaves then
someone has to move into the Ministry of Community Services. By
definition there has to be someone moving into that. By moving
someone into that there is a vacancy from where that person came.
Very simple.
JOURNALIST: I was just wondering why Senator Tate just didn't go
straight into that role?
o. PM: The Community Services portfolio. was held by the fourth
senior member of the Cabinet, a Cabinet position. I don't bring
in someone who has just come into the Ministry and put them in
the Cabinet.
