Mr G K Kolts, OBE, QC, is to be appointed as Commonwealth
Ombudsman. Mr Kolts has been First Parliamentary Counsel for
over five years, and will take up the position of Ombudsman on
1 July.
Mr Kolts has outstanding qualifications for the Ombudsman
appointment, with a long and sustained involvement in matters
of administrative law.
Until Mr Kolts takes up his new appointment, Air Vice Marshal
J C Jordan, AO will continue to act as Commonwealth Ombudsman.
