The following message was sent to the Greek Prime Minister today-
" Dear Prime Minister
I should like to congratulate you for your Government's resolute
action in bringing the attempted hijack of a Turkish airliner
at the weekend to a speedy and successful end.
This achievement is a valuable step in contributing to
international efforts to combat terrorism. All Australians,
I am sure, would support me in this expression of appreciation.
