VISIT OF THE PRIME MINISTER OF THAI LANID'>
The Prime Minister of Thailand, His Excellency General
Prem Tinsulanonda will make an informal visit to
Australia from 31 August to 3 September.
I welcome the opportunity for substantive discussions
with Pri me Minister Prem on matters of mutual interest
and hope that the visit will provide him with
opportunities to see aspects of Australia of particular
interest.
I look forward to the visit as an opportunity to
develop further the close relations between Australia
and Thailand.
