MINISTERIAL CHANGES
Senator the Honourable Douglas Scott has today tendered his
resignation as Minister for Special Trade Representations.
I have informed His Excellency the Governor-General that
I propose to recommend to him tomorrow that he accept
Senator Scott's resignation and that he appoint the
Right Honourable Ian Sinclair as Minister for Special Trade
Representations. Mr. Sinclair will be a member of the Cabinet. Until the
election only, the number of Ministers in the Cabinet will
be increased to fifteen.
Mr. Sinclair will be resuming his role as Leader of the House.
