APPIN COAL DISASTER
The Prime Minister has sent the following message to Neville Wran:
M. y Dear Premier,
I learned with concern of the coal mine disaster at Appin
within your State and would ask you to pass my sympathy
to the relatives of all those killed or injured.
Officers of the Department of Social Security have been
alerted to the problems faced by the injured and the
dependants of those who lost their lives in the disaster.
Claims for any pension or benefit to which they are
entitled -ill be processed urgently. '. lcolm Fraser."
