QUEENSLAND CYCLONE DAMAGE

Following is the text of an urgent telegram sent by the Prime Minister to Mr. John Murray, the Member for

Herbert, on 19th February:

“Please convey to victims of cyclone disaster sincerest sympathy on behalf commonwealth government and on my own behalf stop I shall be glad to have from you on your return to Canberra a full report on the extent of the damage”.
