The Prime Minister has written to the retiring and incoming
National Presidents of the Returned Services League of
Australia. His letters are attached.
PRIME MINISTER CAN BERRA
Dear Sir William, I am writing to you on the occasion of your
retirement as National President of the Returned Services
League of Australia to wish you well in the future and
to congratulate you on your work as National President.
Your job has been a most important and
difficult one and it has been my experience that you
have discharged your duty in a most creditable manner.
I arm sure that you will continue to serve both
the community in general and the R. S. L. in particular.
