STATE VISI'f BY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL OF PAPUA NEW GUINEA
His Excellency Sir Tore Lokoloko, GCMG, the Governor-General
of Papua New Guinea, and Lady Lokoloko, will make a State Visit
to Australia from 1 to 15 March, 1978..-
It will be the first official visit to Australia by a
Governor-General of Papua New Guinea and it is being made
at the invitation of His Excellency the Governor-General of
Australia, Sir Zelman Cowan.
During the visit the Governor-General and Lady), Lokoloko will
visit Canberra, Sydney, Adelaide, Melbourne, Hamilton,
Brisbane, Caloundra and Cairns.
Details of the visit will be announced at a later date.
