OPENING OF THE THIRTY-FIRST PARLIAMENT
The Prime Minister today announced that the Thirty-first
Parliament would be opened by the Governor-General's. Deputy
at 11.00 a. m. on Tuesday 21 February 1978 and that His
Excellency the Governor-General would deliver the Opening
Speech at 3.00 p. m. on the same day.
A Proclamation fixing the time and date of the opening has
been signed by the Governor-General and was published in the
Commonwealth Gazette today. r
