SILVER JUBILEE CELEBRATIONS IN LONDON
Invitations have been issued by the British Government for the
Queen's Silver Jubilee Thanksgiving service at St. Paul's Cathedral,
London, on 7 June.
Those invited ( with their wives) are:
The Governor-General ( Sir John Kerr) and former
Governors-General ( Sir Paul Hasluck and Sir
William McKell)
The Prime Minister ( Mr Fraser) and former
Prime Ministers ( Mr Whitlam, Mr McMahon, Mr Gorton,
Sir John McEwen and Sir Robert Menzies).
All the above have served in office during the period of the
Queen's reign.
The Australian Government will meet the expenses of those invited
to attend the Thanksgiving service. 000ooo000
