MEDIA SECRETARY
Miss Janet Kehoe has been appointed to the staff of the
Prime Minister as Media Secretary.
She will have responsibility for liaison with radio and
television, and will also act on behalf of other members
of the Ministry, particularly in the area of radio and
television engagements.
Miss Keohe, from Lismore NSW, has worked in films,
television and radio in Australia.
She has also worked as a Press or Publicity Officer for
the Conservative. Party in Britain, for the British Overseas
Board of Trad. Jand for-the Department of Energy.
She returned to Australia last year.
Her appointment as Media Secretary fills a vacancy which
has existed in the Press Office since the last administration.
