SENATOR COTTON TO LEAD SOUTH PACIFIC FORUM DELEGATION
The Minister for Industry and ' Commerce, Senator Robert
Cotton, will lead the Australian Delegation to the South
Pacific Forum Meeting to be held in Nauru from
26-28 July.
The Forum is made up of the independent and self-governing
countries of the South Pacific.
Members are Australia, Fiji, Papua New Guinea, the Cook
Island, N'iue, Western Samoa, Tonga, Nauru and New Zealand.
The Solomon Islands, the Gilbert Islands, and Tuvalu
attend as observers.
Subjects likely to be discussed include the Annual Report
of the South Pacific Bureau for Economic Co-operation,
Regional Shipping, Regional Civil Aviation, Regional
9 Telecommunications and the Report of the University of the
