APPOINTMENT OF ASSOCIATES TO INDUSTRIES
ASSISTANCE COMMISSION
The Prime minister, Mr Whitlam, announced today two
further appointments of Associates to the Industries Assistance
Commission. They are Mr Sinclair, for the inquiries in
relation to EDP equipment and the Aircraft Industry, and
Mr D. F. Livingstone, for the inquiry in relation to the
Production of Gold.
Mr Sinclair is a director of Australian Paper Manufacturers
Ltd. and deputy chairman of Hecla-Rowe Ltd and Hecron Ltd. He
is also deputy chairman of the Australian Tourist Commission
and has been a consultant to the Prime Minister's Department
for the past seven years. Mr Livingstone is a geologist
and mineral economist with experience in the Bureau of Mineral
Resources and as a private consultant.
